RULES NOTICE​

In an effort to create the most immersive roleplay experience, Reign RP enforces strict adherence to these rules. Violations—even minor ones—may result in a ban. It is your responsibility to stay updated on the rules, as ignorance is not an excuse. Periodically review this document to ensure compliance.

GENERAL RULES​

  1. Compliance with Platform Terms of Service
    • All players must adhere to:
      • Discord TOS
      • Kick TOS
      • Twitch TOS
      • YouTube TOS
      • Facebook TOS
  2. Age Requirement
    • You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
  3. Microphone Usage
    • A clear, working microphone is required.
  4. Language
    • English is the only permitted language in the city.
  5. Prohibited Roleplay Themes
    • Erotic Roleplay (ERP) is strictly forbidden.
    • The following are never allowed:
      • Real-life tragic events
      • Suicide RP
      • Terrorism threats
      • Pandemic RP
      • Rape/Torture RP
      • Child RP
      • Pregnancy RP
  6. Roleplay Continuity
    • Roleplay must continue unless all parties involved agree to pause or stop.
  7. Character & Account Names
    • Explicit, offensive, or immersion-breaking names are prohibited.
  8. Zero Tolerance Policy
    • Racism, discrimination, homophobia, and sexism will result in immediate removal.
    • Use of derogatory terms is banned.
    • Respect is required both in-server and in external interactions with community members.

CHARACTERS, ACCOUNTS & DONATIONS​

ACCOUNTS​

  • You are responsible for all actions taken on your account.
  • Buying/selling accounts is strictly forbidden.
  • If you lose access to your Discord account, your whitelist cannot be transferred—you must reapply.

CHARACTERS​

  • Characters must remain completely separate—no shared knowledge, connections, or relationships.
  • Character names must be realistic.
  • Multiple characters in the same gang/group are prohibited.
  • Government roles (PD, DOC, DOJ, EMS) must remain corruption-free—no selling/giving away equipment.
  • Default characters are not allowed—fully develop your character before engaging in RP.

DONATIONS​

  • Purchases are non-transferable between characters or accounts.
  • No refunds will be issued for banned players.
  • If a purchase is made in error, submit a ticket within 24 hours for resolution.

CHEATING & EXPLOITING​

GAME MODIFICATIONS & MACROS​

  • Prohibited modifications (speed hacks, ESP, teleportation, health regen, etc.) will result in a permanent ban.
  • Macros/automation (for financial gain or AFK bypassing) are banned—all gains will be revoked.
  • Allowed: Visual enhancements that provide no unfair advantage.

COMMUNICATION​

  • Advertising other GTA RP communities or making cyber threats = permanent ban.
  • OOC threats, racism, or excessive verbal abuse = removal.
  • False IC justification for offensive behavior = staff intervention.
  • Disrespecting staff or disrupting the community = removal.

OOC (OUT-OF-CHARACTER) RULES​

  • OOC chat is banned in-game (use Discord).
  • Immersion-breaking language (e.g., "respawn," "other cities") is prohibited.
  • Never refer to other characters as "cousins," "alts," or similar.
  • Never refer to staff as "the government" or "sky people."
  • No discussion of headcanon/IRL matters in-game.

REPORTING​

  • Use Discord tickets (not /report alone) for past/present issues.
  • Provide full evidence (timestamps, screenshots, videos).
  • Do not DM staff for rule issues—use tickets.
  • Staff will never break RP in-game unless enforcing rules via an official ticket.

ROLEPLAY RULES​

DEATHMATCH (DM) RULES​

  • Initiate RP before violence—no RDM (Random Deathmatch).
  • Vehicle DM (VDM) = ban (no using cars as weapons).
  • Self-defense is allowed if provoked with valid RP.

NEW LIFE RULE (NLR)​

  • After death/hospitalization:
    • Do not return to the death scene for 30 minutes.
    • No retaliation against attackers for 60 minutes.
    • Do not loot/collect evidence post-scenario.

COMBAT LOGGING​

  • Disconnecting to avoid RP consequences = ban.
  • If you crash, rejoin immediately.
  • No emote abuse (e.g., "/me passes out") during combat.

METAGAMING & POWERGAMING​

  • Metagaming(using OOC knowledge) = ban.
    • No streams/Discord calls revealing in-game info.
  • Powergaming(forcing unrealistic actions) = ban.
    • No abuse of /me commands to control RP outcomes.
    • No dragging players to avoid RP.

PRISON RP​

  • Lifers cannot escape prison without staff approval.
  • Always RP as if DOC is present, even if offline.
  • No low-quality prison break-ins without a plan.

ROLEPLAY QUALITY​

  • Cop baiting (intentionally provoking PD) = ban.
  • Money grinding > RP = disciplinary action.
  • No hospital camping to taunt defeated players.
  • Criminals must provide valid RP reason before shooting cops.

FAIL RP & LOW-QUALITY RP EXAMPLES​

  • Ignoring /me interactions (e.g., "steals shoes").
  • Talking normally after being shot.
  • Spectating shootouts you’re not part of.
  • Robbing without reason or proper RP.
  • Ocean dumping cars for no justification.

VALUE OF LIFE (VoL)​

  • Act as if your character has one life—no reckless behavior.
  • If at a severe disadvantage (e.g., gun to head), you must comply.

ECONOMY​

  • No farming starter cash via alt characters—all funds & assets will be revoked.
  • No asset transfers between characters.

AIRCRAFT USE​

  • No low-quality/unrealistic use (e.g., helicopter collisions).
  • No rapid deployment into gang wars.
  • Aircraft are for recon/transport only (no combat).

CRIMINAL & GANG ACTIVITIES​

GANG RULES​

  • Gangs must emphasize storylines over constant war.
  • Always initiate conflict via verbal RP first.
  • Only whitelisted gangs can engage in "beef."
    (Apply via Factions Discord to become whitelisted.)

CRIMINAL RULES​

  • 6-Man Rule: Maximum 6 participants per crime (no outside help).
    • No additional lookouts/info-sharing.
    • Do not move a crime to gang turf if it violates this rule.
  • No job-related abilities during crimes (e.g., mechanic tools).
  • No unplanned collaboration between separate criminal groups.
  • Prison transports are a new scenario (max 5 attackers).

ROBBERIES​

  • Hostage required for all robberies (except houses).
  • No fake hostages—strictly banned.
  • Banks & major heists require detailed plans.
  • No robbing in teleport zones (clothing stores, etc.).
  • No interference in active robberies with police presence.
  • No robbing gov employees (PD/DOC/EMS) for gear.

SERVER RESTART RULES​

  • No crime 30 mins before/after scheduled restarts.
  • After unscheduled crashes, wait 15 mins before criminal activity.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in penalties, including permanent removal from Reign RP.
